Getting swamped by customer support tickets this holiday season? How many of them are about “Tracking Numbers Not Found”? To help provide buyers with better tracking on their orders, any tracking number for USPS shipments created on Shippo will now be available on the USPS.com tracking page within one hour of label purchase.
Previously, any customer receiving a tracking number for their order with USPS would have seen an unknown tracking number message when they went to the USPS.com website to track their shipment. This delay in tracking update caused poor customer experience and generated a lot of customer support overhead when tickets come in telling businesses that they sent out a “bad tracking number”.

Now, customers who receive a tracking number from a shipment created on Shippo will see that their shipment has been found, within 1 hour of when the label was generated. The status is clearly marked as a purchased label in “pre-shipment” and the origin address is shown.
