Shippo's June Product Roundup: Bulk refunds, newly discounted Canada Post rates, and API enhancements

We're excited to share the latest updates to our platform designed to make your shipping experience smoother and more cost-effective. Within the Web App, we’ve introduced a new flow to process label refunds in bulk to save you time. Additionally, we've made a tracking enhancement to our API and implemented new discounted Canada Post rates. These updates aim to help you ship more efficiently, reduce costs, and deliver a seamless experience to your customers.

What’s new in our Web App

Quickly refund labels in bulk

Within the Shippo Web App, you now have the ability to initiate several refunds at once, saving you time. Simply navigate to your Shipments page and select the orders you would like to initiate a refund for. Then, click “Request [#] refunds” to refund your labels.

Track your packages with more accuracy

Our enhanced delivery tracking now offers improved accuracy with precise transit times, including the start time, first transit event, and time zone adjustments. You will also see expected transit times based on service level SLAs and carrier-provided ETAs. Additionally, you’ll get more details around the exact moment your package is delivered for a comprehensive and reliable tracking experience.

What’s new with our carriers

Save more with newly discounted rates from Canada Post 

We’re thrilled to announce that Canada Post has increased its savings, enabling you to save more across their already discounted rates on Shippo! This means that merchants shipping within Canada can now save up to 44% off. For those shipping from Canada to the U.S., you can take advantage of up to 47% off retail rates and up to 65% when shipping internationally. These additional discounts will be available until January 31, 2025.
