Monthly Product Digest: New CSV Import Mapping, Insurance Claims Process, and More

We’re always looking for ways to improve the e-commerce shipping process for our customers. Ultimately, we want our shipping software to help you grow your business with ease, streamlining the fulfillment process so you can handle more packages effortlessly.

Here are some of the recent and upcoming product updates that will help you do just that.

New! Save Your CSV Import Mapping

When you import orders via a CSV file, you can now save your field mappings to a CSV template so that Shippo remembers which fields have the appropriate information and automatically maps the fields correctly for future CSV imports. You no longer need to reassign the same fields every time you upload a file.

Your Wix is My Demand: Improved Shipping Process for Wix Users

Wix users can now import orders via a CSV file and select the Wix template from the drop down menu so that the fields are automatically mapped correctly.

For more information, check out our recent “How to Shippo” video that will show you how to download orders from Wix then import to Shippo via CSV file.

Introducing a 1-claim Insurance Process

We’ve streamlined our insurance claims process, so now you only need to fill out one form to submit a claim. Previously, insurance claims required two separate forms—one for the carrier and the other for Shipsurance. We’ve removed the added complexity of the extra form to streamline the process for you.

The “Coming Soon” Corner

We’re excited to share a sneak peek of a couple updates to our features and services coming this fall.

We’re Hatching Updates to our Batch Label Generation

In the coming weeks you can expect updates to the workflow that allows you to print labels in batch. Stay tuned for more information.

Next Up: Scheduling a USPS Pickup with Shippo

You’ll soon be able to use Shippo to schedule a USPS package pickup during the normal route of your mail carrier. This service is free of charge, regardless of the number of packages you are sending.
