Monthly Product Digest: New Batch Label Workflow & USPS Pickup Scheduling
Shippo is a shipping software committed to helping businesses navigate the complexities of shipping. This month, we focused on making it easier for businesses to print multiple labels at once, via our batch label workflow. In addition to updates to batch label creation, we also added the ability to schedule USPS pickups right in the Shippo web app.

Batch Label Creation Got a Boost
We’ve made significant updates to our batch label workflow just in time for many e-commerce business’ peak season. Our batch label workflow is now faster and more reliable. It also has better error messaging.
We know users will be excited to hear that we improved the label collation, so now return and outbound labels can be downloaded in one batch and all labels for a given order are grouped together.
We also added automatic U.S. address validation to our batch label creation workflow to prevent label errors.
You now have the ability to use “imported order value” for insurance. And you can use the order’s imported weight if at least one order has that value included. Before, it was only possible if all orders had it.
To test the batch label workflow for yourself, head to the Orders tab in the Shippo web app, select the orders you want to fulfill, and click “Create Label for Selected Orders” near the top of the screen.
Skip the Post Office Visit & Schedule a USPS Pickup
We’re rolling out the ability for you to schedule a USPS package pickup during the normal route of your mail carrier. This service is free of charge, regardless of the number of packages you are sending. For more information about carrier pickups, visit our ultimate e-commerce shipping guide blog post.
To schedule a USPS package pickup, visit your Shipments tab and click “Schedule Pickup” at the top of your screen.
