Instantly Ship with UberRUSH and Deutsche Post with Shippo
With Shippo, businesses are able to compare delivery times and real time shipping rates and print labels immediately upon sign up through shipping provider accounts activated by default on Shippo.
Today, we’re excited to activate two more default accounts for Shippo customers: UberRUSH and Deutsche Post. They will be appear alongside existing Shippo shipping provider accounts which includes: USPS, DHL Express, and Parcelforce.
UberRUSH
Businesses in Chicago, New York, and San Francisco can send intracity packages on-demand with UberRUSH.
UberRUSH is one of the most affordable on-demand delivery services since couriers won’t need to make round trips. UberRUSH also offers fixed quotes, meaning that you won’t be affected by traffic or road blockage – only pay for what you are quoted for upfront.
UberRUSH also recently expanded their areas of service to include parts of:

Deutsche Post
Businesses with German outbound shipments to domestic and international destinations can now use Deutsche Post to send their packages.
If you enter a shipment with a from address based in Germany, you will see rates from Deutsche Post alongside any international carriers you have activated.

For customers who signed up for Shippo before August 2016:
If you are a Shippo app user and have connected Shippo with a storefront through the Connect tab, you will now see UberRUSH and Deutsche Post appear in your Carriers settings in Test mode. Simply click on Edit to make them live.
If you are a Shippo app user and have not connected any storefronts, please contact support@goshippo.com if you’d like to activate UberRUSH and Deutsche Post.
If you are a developer using Shippo through our API, please let us know at support@goshippo.com if you’d like to activate UberRUSH or Deutsche Post. Note that by activating these accounts, there may be more Rates returned, so please make sure that your implementation is able to handle these changes.
