Shippo Hires Olivier Adler as CFO and Naveen Sanjeeva as SVP of Engineering

We’re excited to introduce Olivier Adler, our new CFO, and Naveen Sanjeeva, our new SVP of engineering. Olivier and Naveen have extensive backgrounds at high-growth technology companies, and will bring their expertise to Shippo as we’re accelerating our efforts to enable every business to ship at scale.

“Last year, Shippo grew over three times faster than the rapidly-accelerating U.S. e-commerce market,” said Olivier. “As someone who thrives by helping high-velocity businesses accelerate their growth, there’s no better place to do that than at Shippo right now.”

Prior to Shippo, Olivier was VP of Finance at Checkr, the background check technology company; CFO at eero, the leader in the whole home wi-fi system; and Head of Finance at FiveStars, a payments and marketing platform for SMBs. At eero, Olivier had a leading role in the sale of the company to Amazon.

Olivier has a proven track record of financial leadership at companies with relevant ethos to Shippo: both Checkr and FiveStars help democratize and streamline complex technology challenges for businesses. Olivier’s experience managing high-scale operations will help accelerate Shippo’s growth, with a keen focus on enabling our core customer audiences.

Prior to Shippo, Naveen was VP of engineering at RingCentral, a cloud-based communications and collaboration solution for businesses. At RingCentral, Naveen spent nine years leading the team through growth initiatives that mirror what’s on Shippo’s horizon, including international coverage and expanding up market.

Given Naveen’s wealth of experience expanding and strengthening carrier integrations, he will play a crucial role in helping us become the largest network of shipping carriers on a single platform. Naveen was also a leader in RingCentral’s evolution up-market, and will be a key asset for us as we develop the functionality to power platforms and support high-volume SMBs while continuing to improve our core product and make shipping more frictionless for our core merchant audience.

Olivier and Naveen’s appointments follow other key leadership hires in the past year, including Catherine Stewart, COO; Brandon Terry, SVP of product; and Vince DeAngelis, VP of carrier partnerships. These hires, in addition to Naveen and Olivier, offer an extensive breadth of experiences and skills to lead Shippo as we grow. Catherine and Brandon, for example, are well-experienced in scaling companies to achieve rapid revenue growth; and Vince joins Shippo with 33+ years in the shipping industry, including at the USPS, Pitney Bowes, and Quadient.
