Parcel, inside your freight platform: Shippo now powers shipping in ShipperGuide

ShipperGuide customers can now quote, book, label, and track parcel shipments in the same platform where they already manage truckload and LTL. Shippo powers the multi-carrier rating and label layer behind it. At launch, shippers can rate shop (comparing carriers side by side), bring their own negotiated contracts, and get USPS rates without a carrier contract.
What does this mean if you ship with ShipperGuide
Most shippers who move truckload and LTL also move parcels. Not a lot of it, usually five to fifty packages a day, but enough that it matters. And almost none of that volume lived in the TMS. It lived at a kiosk in the warehouse, a carrier station next to it, or a standalone tool only one person knows how to use.
The cost isn't the extra clicks. It's that your freight spend report is missing a mode. Ask what the company spent moving goods last quarter and someone has to export from three systems and stitch it together. Finance gets a number that's close enough, not a number that's right. You also lose the comparisons you'd want to make, like noticing when a day's worth of packages would have been cheaper as one LTL move.
Parcel is now a shipping mode in ShipperGuide, alongside truckload and LTL.
Here's the workflow:
- Create a shipment from an existing order or on its own. No planning step to work around.
- Validate the address before rates come back. If something's off, you get a suggested correction you can accept or decline. It's what keeps address correction accessorials off your invoice.
- Rate shop by comparing carriers side by side, with service levels and transit times on each.
- Book without a second login. Confirm that the shipment is in the carrier's system.
- Get the label and tracking. Download a PDF or pass the label to your WMS. Booking returns a carrier tracking link.
- Handle the real-world stuff. Residential delivery, signature required, optional insurance, and label refunds on cancelled shipments.
You keep the rates you negotiated. Your contracts flow into ShipperGuide through a one-time setup, and those are the rates you see when you rate shop.
What the Shippo integration gives ShipperGuide users
Parcel rates without a carrier negotiation
USPS rates come built in through Shippo master accounts. A shipper moving 20 parcels a day gets access to discounted rates immediately, with no contract to negotiate and no volume commitment to hit.
Or keep the carrier contracts you already have
Shippo hosts negotiated carrier agreements, so you can connect your existing carrier credentials and rate-shop on your own contracted rates inside ShipperGuide. Your accounts, your rates, our infrastructure.
One place for rates, labels, and tracking
Open a parcel shipment is in ShipperGuide, compare live rates across services, buy the label, and get tracking back in the same view where you watch your freight. Shippo supports 40+ carriers and 500+ service levels, with tracking coverage across 1,000+ carriers.
Billing you can actually reconcile
Shipping charges get tied back to carrier invoices, so there are no duplicate charges to chase and no surprise adjustments to reverse-engineer at month end. For teams that already spend real hours reconciling freight invoices, adding parcel doesn't add another reconciliation project.
Coverage on the shipments that matter
High-value parcels can carry Shippo Total Protection, powered by XCover, covering loss, damage, and theft.
How it works
The integration connects ShipperGuide to Shippo's API. Once it's enabled on your account, parcel rates appear inside your ShipperGuide shipment workflow. No separate login, no CSV export, no copying tracking numbers between systems.
If you want to use your own carrier accounts, you'll connect those credentials during setup and Shippo hosts them from there. If you don't have carrier contracts, USPS master rates are available from the start. Labels are purchased through Shippo, so rates, label history, billing, and tracking all stay in sync between the two platforms.
