Quotation

Quotation Meaning In Business

A proposal from a seller to a buyer that states they will sell the item in question for a certain price only if certain conditions happen. For example, let’s say your business sells lamps. If you were running a deal that said “all lamps will be sold at 15% off when you purchase a pack of lightbulbs” that would be a quotation. The condition that needs to happen in order for you to sell your lamps at a certain price is that the customer has to buy a pack of light bulbs. Quotations aren’t just limited to promotions but can also be included in other ways that you may choose to price your items.
