How does the referral program work?

Once you enter your email on this page, you’ll receive a unique referral link. Share that link with anyone who might benefit from Shippo. When they sign up using your link and print their first shipping label, you earn $50. Meanwhile, your friend gets $50 in Shippo credits after spending $50. Everyone wins!

Do my friends need to pay anything to start?

Shippo is free to use. There are no monthly fees on the Starter plan, and your referrals only pay for the labels they print. Once they spend $50 on labels, they’ll automatically receive $50 in Shippo credits.

Is there a limit of how many merchants I can refer?

No! You can refer as many people as you’d like. You’ll earn $50 for each new user who meets the criteria and completes the requirement of printing their first shipping label.

How and when will I receive my $50 reward?

After your referral ships their first package with Shippo, you are eligible for your $50 reward. Our referral program is powered by PartnerStack. PartnerStack makes approved commissions available to withdraw between the 8th and 13th of each month. At this point, you'll receive an email with a prompt to create a free account on their platform so they can send you the $50.

If you want to see the status of all your invites, just create your PartnerStack account with the same email you used for Shippo's referral program to access your dashboard (this is where you’ll track clicks, signups, and commissions).

What to expect

Statuses:

Pending: we verify eligibility,
Approved, pending payment: queued for payout,
Available to withdraw: funds ready in PartnerStack.

Timing: PartnerStack makes approved commissions available to withdraw between the 8th and 13th of each month. This means it might take some weeks before you will be able to withdraw your reward.

How to get paid

Create a PartnerStack account, log in to PartnerStack, choose your payout method, and withdraw once the status shows Available to withdraw.

Can I refer myself or existing Shippo users?

No. You can’t refer yourself, and existing Shippo users do not qualify as new signups. The referral bonus is only valid for first‐time Shippo users who sign up with your unique link.

How do my referrals receive their $50 credit?

When your referral signs up using your unique link and spends $50 on shipping labels, a $50 in credit is automatically applied to their Shippo account. They don’t need any special code; it’s all tracked via your referral link.

I lost my referral link - what now?

Just enter the same email address you used before above. You will receive the exact same link again. Need help? Send us an email.

What are reasons that payout commissions might get denied?

The goal of the referral program is to find users with a genuine interest in using Shippo’s platform. So if you do anything to game the system (e.g. fake emails, forcing people to buy labels via Shippo), your referral might be ineligible.
