Stripe and Shippo Partner To Streamline eCommerce

We are very excited to announce our partnership with Stripe, bringing simple and affordable shipping to online businesses running on Stripe.

Any business using Stripe will now have the ability to get real time shipping quotes with their product and order information, and purchase shipping labels at those rates directly from Shippo.

Shippo connects businesses of all sizes to multiple shipping carriers from one place, to get discounted shipping rates, print labels, track shipments and more. Through Shippo’s API, developers are able to build scalable shipping engines tailored to their business needs.

To get real-time shipping rates, developers need to sign up for a free Shippo account and add their Shippo credentials to Stripe. Then, Stripe will be able to grab any rates made available on the Shippo account connected to Stripe. By default this includes discounted USPS shipping rates, but if the business were to connect more carriers to their Shippo account, more carrier rates would be available.

Businesses can integrate Shippo's API to purchase shipping labels with the discounted shipping rates calculated for their Stripe orders. It’s free to manage orders and use the Shippo API, only pay when you purchase labels.
